A New Relationship with Energy:

Feeling the Jitters? You’re Not Alone.

Caffeine is the world’s most widely consumed psychoactive substance—known to stimulate the central nervous system, increase cortisol levels, and temporarily block adenosine, the neurotransmitter responsible for sleep and relaxation.

For many, it works. But for others, it leads to energy crashes, anxiety, digestive discomfort, and disrupted sleep cycles.

If you’ve ever felt wired but tired, hyper-productive but disconnected, your body might be asking for a new rhythm.

Enter Fungki.

Our blends are crafted with functional mushrooms and adaptogens that support the brain, nervous system, and adrenals—without the spikes, crashes, or compromise. Choose between a gentle, caffeine-free lift (Fungki) or a light, clean dose of caffeine with benefits (Fungki Coffee), both designed to energize your day without overriding your natural rhythms.

Whether you’re looking to reduce your caffeine intake or find a more balanced ritual, Fungki offers a path to clarity, focus, and flow—without the crash.

It’s not about quitting your ritual.

It’s about evolving it.

FAQ

I don’t like coffee - is Fungki for me?

Yes! It doesn’t taste like coffee, but has a rich, roasted, earthy flavour with a subtle hint of cinnamon and vanilla. Think of it as a daily ritual to connect with plant and mushroom intelligence in a cup, whether you drink it hot, iced, in a smoothie, or as a latte. Fungki is for anyone seeking more grounded energy, mental clarity, and gut-nourishing benefits, without caffeine.

I love coffee - is Fungki for me?

Fungki is the perfect second (or third) cup when you want the ritual of a nourishing, uplifting drink without overloading your body with caffeine. It’s also a beautiful way to weave functional mushrooms and nutritive herbs into your day to support your nervous system and mind. With Lion’s Mane, Reishi, and Cordyceps, Fungki helps promote focus, stress balance, and steady energy, making it an ideal afternoon or evening ritual to keep you clear and grounded, without overstimulation.

If you’re looking for the adaptogenic, nootropic benefits of mushrooms and caffeine, check out Fungki Coffee

Is Fungki only for the morning, or can I drink it any time of day?

Fungki is caffeine-free and can be enjoyed any time, morning, noon, or night. It contains Lion’s Mane and Cordyceps, which are known to support mental clarity and sustained energy, however, their effects are gradual and build up with consistent use over time.

That means there's no strict “best” time to drink it. What matters most is that you make it a regular part of your ritual. If you're just getting started, we suggest trying it earlier in the day to see how it feels in your system, then adjusting based on what your body tells you.

How will Fungki make me feel?

Fungki is designed to work gradually and holistically. With regular use, many people notice smoother energy, cognitive clarity, steadier mood, stronger resilience to stress and better digestion. It’s about whole body nourishment, not stimulation.

What’s the difference between Fungki and Fungki Coffee?

Both blends are designed to support energy, cognitive health, and stress resilience, but the difference comes down to caffeine and taste.

  • Fungki is your caffeine-free coffee alternative, made with functional mushrooms, prebiotic herbs, and spices for grounded energy without the jitters. It features Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps, chicory, mesquite, vanilla, cinnamon, and Himalayan salt, giving it a rich and roasted flavour profile of its own.
  • Fungki Coffee contains 44mg of caffeine from low-acid cold brew coffee, and decaf coffee, Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Ginseng, and Himalayan salt. It’s crafted for those who want the ritual and taste of coffee with balanced, nootropic energy, containing less caffeine than a typical cup, yet still enough to give you a lift.

Can I combine Fungki with your mushroom tinctures? Is that too much?

You can absolutely combine both. Fungki delivers a therapeutic 3g dose of mushrooms per serving, and if you’re also using our tinctures, you’re still well within the daily recommended limits. These mushrooms work synergistically, and combining formats can offer broader support, especially if you’re working with specific health goals.

Why are the mushrooms in Fungki sourced from China instead of Canada?

Rainbo’s tinctures will always be made with mushrooms grown in Canada— this part of our foundation hasn’t changed.

With Fungki, we searched high and low across North America for organic, 100% fruiting body mushroom extract powders that met our standards — and came up short. That’s why we turned to the ancestral home of mushroom cultivation: the remote and pristine mountains of China, where mushrooms have been grown for over 800 years using traditional, organic practices.

After extensive research, vetting, and third-party testing, we partnered with multi-generational farmers who grow fruiting-body-only mushrooms on wood-based substrates (never grain), dry them in solar-powered facilities, and rigorously test for purity, beta-glucan content, and bioactive compounds.

This isn’t a compromise. It’s an evolution of our sourcing — guided by integrity, reverence for ancient wisdom, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. Fungki reflects our vision: the most effective, planet-forward mushrooms in the world, delivered to you with transparency and care.
